Homelessness Must Be Eradicated

We’ve been fed a line for as long as I can remember that America is the greatest country in the world. If only that were true. In my lifetime, that may have been true from the sixties to the eighties. Now? Not so much.

We are a great country, but we have some problems that just shouldn’t exist in a first world country, much less America.

It is a travesty that we have Americans sleeping on sidewalks in every state of the union. This shouldn’t be happening, but it is. For example, Finland and other places like the state of Utah have made major progress with this issue and why we as a country haven’t, is infuriating to me.

If the U.S. solves this problem, then it might be worthy of the title as the greatest country in the world, but we’re a million miles away from there at the time of this post.

I’m going to help others who are making a difference in the fight against homelessness. I can’t continue to just sit here and watch. I will donate a percentage of my future book sales as a start. Stay tuned…
