July was the best month I’ve had on TikTok since March. I’m starting to find the products that work best for me. It’s not a get rich program by any means. But, it’s been a slow progression upward and $1200 isn’t chump change.
As long as I make a $1000 a month for the time being I’ll be happy. Though I wouldn’t mind a viral video that makes a $100k in a month either. That one chick covering her husband with a ‘cold blanket’ made over 100K in July when the video went viral. Good for her. Life changing.
My goal the last 10 years has been to write books and make a decent income at. So far that has been elusive. My Hawaii thriller series never did very well. I have plans for new books in the future that will be in a different genre and won’t be set in Hawaii. But for the time being I’m going to give TikTok most of my time since my videos are making more money than my books.
Who knows how long this TikTok gravy train is going to last. But I’m here for it. The one thing I really like about it is TikTok pays in about 15 days. None of this 60 day bullshit that Amazon does. Ultimately my book shop online is the goal. That’s another post for another day. In the meantime, Viva la TikTok!
